Founded in summer 2020 by Dexter and Gemma Batson, our mission is to help make good music become more popular. Our purpose in this industry is to connect great music with the right ears, and to make the experience of our artists, their teams, our contacts and staff as enjoyable as possible.

Dexter has worked at the intersection of music, media and technology for the last 16 years. In five years at the BBC, he worked on the music teams of Radio 1 and 6 Music, as well as on the shows of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe and Greg James. He subsequently looked after Spotify's alternative music programming for the UK, establishing the playlist ecosystem that exists today.

Gemma worked as a director at the Internet Archive, specialising in digitisation, library science and business development, before joining Dexter in launching Little Wonder and raising their 3 young children together.

Beyond radio, Little Wonder offers consultation and speaking services, with clients including Communion Music, Verdigris Management, The Prince's Trust, ICMP, Get Loud in Libraries and The BBC. We also manage brilliant powerpop duo ARXX, and indie dreamers Pynch.

If we’re lucky enough to work on your team, we’ll help your voice reach the ears that matter, across UK national radio, and we can help you hone your message to streaming services.

Little Wonder are proud to have signed the Keychange pledge, and to actively work towards a gender balanced music industry.
